Fantastic game, fantastic dev team; been a fan since Week 5 came out! I'm really glad Week 7 fixed a lot of previous issues with charting and inputs! I also appreciate the customizable inputs, as trying to hit up and down close together with WASD is pretty difficult for me. (I recommend DFJK!) Can't wait to see what new content comes from the Kickstarter. Right now it's a pretty short game to play through-- when I first played it many months ago I had to play everything on easy mode to survive, and now hard mode comes way more naturally to me! Don't give up, new funkers, it just takes some practice!
The only complaint I have right now is the negative timing offset. The arrows come almost half a second before they do in the song, which means to hit notes accurately you have to push the keys before the note plays. This is bearable for the slow songs, but for the fast songs it's very difficult to play when there's tons of arrows, and you're playing them all an entire beat off.
Most other rhythm games have a calibration feature to adjust the timing offset based on the individual's computer. I think this game could definitely benefit from something like that- even a manual adjustment setting would be better than none. For now I'll just have to get used to playing half a second early!
